September is almost over, and we’re ready to report a few things.
First, 75 tourniquets that we bought in August finally made it to Ochakiv, Mykolayiv oblast, to the military base Arsenal. Ukrainian Cultural Club of Dallas added a couple of boxes of miscellaneous medical supplies, and those also found their way to Ochakiv.
Second, Darya and Travis briefly visited Ukraine and delivered a Mavic 3 Pro to the military firefighters in 54th separate mechanised brigade. We hope their new set of eyes has a long and productive life!
Lastly, 6 packs of hand warmers were bought for us through Amazon wishlist. Thank you to those mysterious donors who did not reach out for receipt! All 6 boxes are currently being packaged to be sent to Ukraine via sea. They will arrive in about a month.
Meanwhile, just as we planned, September donations will cover purchasing and shipment of the remaining 38 boxes in early October.
